Literary Piece
THE FOOTPRINTS ON THE SNOW
I
follow
whither
they may go.
the night is cold, placid, and dark,
but for
the star lights reflected
on the
desolate path.
I do not know
if the
impressions are of a man or a woman,
the
young or the old,
the
joyous or the sad,
the
hunter or the hunted.
are the
images left behind
by a
pleasure stroll,
by a
philosopher’s walk,
by someone who is lost, or
by a
pair of hurried pedes on their way home?
are
they the remnants of someone’s existence,
the
only remains of a conscience,
the
testimonies to love’s transience,
the
markings of life’s impermanence?
do not
know.
like
the winter after the spring,
like
the summer behind the autumn,
i
shadow
the
footprints on the snow,
whereof
i do not know.
Literary
Approach
The footprints in the
Snow, this piece was so simply but full of questions. If I’m in the situation I
really so be crazy to think who is the people that pass in the snow that brings
footprints at the snow. I can imagine why could the author think who’s that
footprints. But related to life you cannot find the truth when you have no
effort in life and life was just full of question.
Conclusion
In this piece you can
imagine how life was so full of mystery. And realize that every small thing in
this world are have a importance. Like this footprints in the snow, it will
could tell you how much life adventurous. And I love exploring, like in life
you cannot know the true personality of one person if you did not explore
his/her life. And you cannot know the answer if you did not open the door.
