Introduction
Here is a poem by
Thomas Eric Peet an Egyptian poet which shows distrust of fellow men It voices
the idea that problems in human relation were as acute then as they are now.
This poem will give a generalization about the people you would to trust. There is
nothing wrong on who you will to trust the other people but make sure that they
are true also to their selves as you trusted yourself. Too many spaces, unless
that was not a typo but some highly literalistic means of furthering your point
of feeling alone and separated form the world. Also, it is another reminder how
wrong the world is these days and so we should bring goodness to drive away the
prevalent evil.
Literary Analysis
This is an observation of the elements
of the poem I have present to you as my
reader of this article.
Tone:
Distrust to other people around the
character being described in this poem.
Theme: Trusting
is not bad but try to find those people who are honest, trustworthy and
comforter.
Symbols: Evil, Heart
Point of view: We are living in the world of lie, and we are
subjected and prone to them. We should not depend ourselves to others but make
yourself as a passenger of God bus.
Discussion
This Poem entitled to whom should I speak today, the predominant condition
that is be wailed of the writer is what happen today because of the sinful act
of the individual. May be the writer is doubting to whom he should speak with trust
without hesitation. He figured out from
his poem that now a day there is no one who can give us complete trust and
comfort.
